It shows the domination of mammals after the extinction of dinosaurs 65 million years ago to the Ice age about 10,000 years ago. Rudolph Franz Zallinger Rudolph Franz Zallinger (born November 12, 1919 - August 1, 1995) was an American-based artist notable for his mural Age of Reptiles at Yale's Peabody Museum of Natural History completed in 1947.
